Raimund Nagel is a group leader in the Plant Physiology Department of the Institute for Biology at Leipzig University. He teaches courses in Plant Physiology. His research investigates the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites in plants and plant associated bacteria, especially the gibberellin production by plant-pathogenic bacteria.
