Here you’ll find all relevant information on compulsory internships as part of your studies at the Faculty of Life Sciences.

M.Sc. Biologie and M.Sc. Biodiversity, Ecology and Evolution & M.Sc. Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology

  • please register for the internship module 11-PSY-218 in AlmaWeb
  • Once a week, contracts are generated according to the registrations
  • This means, 7 days the latest after registering for the module, you can download the contract from your AlmaWeb-postbox
  • All aspects of accident insurance must be clarified with the internship site
  • as soon as you and your internship site signed the contract, you send it to your mentor at the Institute of Biology
  • the contract should be at your mentors at least two weeks before the internship starts
  • as soon as the mentor signed the contract, please hand it in to the Office for Study Affairs (Praktikum.lw@uni-leipzig.de)
  • after the internship ended, please hand in the proof of internship to the Office for Study Affairs (Praktikum.lw@uni-leipzig.de)
  • please also hand in the internship report to your mentor (details must be discussed with the mentor)
  • when all requirements are met, your mentor informs the Office for Study Affairs ► the status in AlmaWeb is set as passed
