Our research focusses on the advancement of statistical methods for the analysis of complex psychological data. We are also interested in applications of Brunswik’s lens model approach in psychological research such as the accuracy of personality judgments.

Current projects include the application of instrumental variables to estimate the parameters in structural equation models, using cross-random effect models for the analysis of social relations model data and social network data, modelling intra-individual variability, the accuracy of personality judgments, and personality judgments and hindsight bias.
