Forschungsinteressen
Mein Hauptforschungsinteresse gilt den evolutionären Vorgängen, welche die Verbreitung von Verhalten und Kognition bei Tieren prägen, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf Primaten und Huftieren. Zurzeit arbeite ich an den Themen Komplexität und Ontogenese der Primatenkommunikation und an der kulturübergreifenden entwicklungsbezogenen Untersuchung der Einstellung von Kindern gegenüber Tieren. Darüber hinaus interessiere ich mich für Ökologie und Naturschutz, mit mehreren internationalen Kooperationen und einer Feldstation in Sulawesi (Macaca Maura Project), und ich pflege eine heimliche aber intensive Liebe zur Psycholinguistik.
